Protein Packed Pancakes

jjsfit

Using only 5 ingredients, you can make these delicious pancakes that can be enjoyed for breakfast, a quick snack, as a lunch wrap or even for dinner (no judgement!)

Ingredients:

  1. 40g Flour (Plain)

  2. 30g Whey Protein (Vanilla)

  3. 1 egg

  4. 1/2 tsp Baking Powder

  5. 100ml Milk

Method:

  1. Place all dry ingredients (Flour, Whey Protein, Baking Powder) into a mixing bowl

  2. Crack egg in

  3. Add In 100ml milk

  4. WHISK away *I add a dash of water in here too, so the mixture turns to a bit of a runny batter

  5. Add 1/4-1/2 tsp of oil to a pan & wipe away excess

  6. Pour 1/3 or 1/2 of batter in (depending how thick you want your pancakes)

  7. Flip when batter is no longer runny

  8. Serve and decorate as you wish :))

****I used plain flour (because it's all I had, but have used self raising and it's basically the same!)

***I used Optimum Protein Powder (Vanilla) but I have done it with chocolate and its Devine **I used Lactose free semi skimmed milk because that is what I drink!

*I used coconut oil but you can use other oils

Remember the choice and amount of ingredients you use, will alter your macronutrients so just keep an eye on what you are using.

Top with whatever you fancy!! *But remember that these ADD calories.

My go to is Greek 0% Yoghurt, Berries & if I am feeling naughty, a serving of nut butter :))
